Glastonbury Festival 2010
We returned for another Glastonbury Festival in 2010. This year we bought back the fired bells that festival goers in 2009 had decorated.
We displayed the bells as a wind chime, mounting them in a piece of old apple tree from our garden.
Again we demonstrated how we have processed the clay from Worthy Farm into a stable and attractive slip. Festival goers dipped pottery bells, this year made from a fine white porcelain, into the slip and decorated them using sgraffito to inscribe their personal messages and artwork.
